Howdy! It’s great to catch up this month. It’s been a busy few weeks to say the least.
The main thing was our Cornwall holiday which was so lovely. It’s the longest holiday I’ve ever had, which for someone with travel anxiety is a big milestone for me. It wasn’t easy and wasn’t without its hiccups.
But we had a really great 10 nights away which were jammed packed. The highlights were beach days, visiting Port Isaac, Padstow, The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens Of Heligan. Wow, it was amazing.
Cornwall, I’ve been missing your turquoise seas and fresh sea air immensely already! We will be back.
We returned from our holibobs to our kitchen/diner extension starting. Great progress has been made and as we speak the floor is being built. The steels and walls will be going in, in the next week hopefully! With any luck next time we catch up, we may just have some glazing too.
We’ve finally chosen and ordered our flooring. As well as been scouting out patio tiles and worktops. Bit by bit, it’s slowly coming together. Hooray!
Anyway enough from me, let’s dive into all things wedding, shall we?

Shropshire Petals has an exciting new confetti line.
We have launched a limited edition mix for August that includes a new petal which we are trialling, dried eucalyptus. We find our couples are asking more and more about a pink and sage for confetti so we think it’s going to be a popular one.
