Colorful and replete with traditional and contemporary style festivities, Dr, Jinal Patel, a physiotherapist, and Siddharth Patel, a businessman’s wedding in Vadodara was a stunner. Planning their wedding and ensuring that everything was in sync with the duo and their families’ vision was WeddingSutra Favorite – Sattva Weddings who orchestrated a series of beautifully conceptualized events.
Giving us a detailed overview of the concept behind the celebrations and how she incorporated her own style into one of the biggest days of her life, bride Jinal shares, “The theme of the decor layout was extravagant! With team Sattva Weddings helping us out, it was planned around my admiration for blooms while amplifying the beauty of our venue. For the reception, we opted for a pastel floral backdrop while the rest of the events like the Wedding, Haldi and Mehndi were more colorful.”
Yash Mistry from Sattva Weddings shares, “Jinal and I agreed that weddings were a family affair and that they should be celebrated in the most affectionate way possible, so when it came to conceptualizing, we chose classic and timeless themes that would resonate with everyone regardless of their age.”
Haldi and Mehendi
Kicking off the festivities was a home-based Haldi and Mehndi event. Draped in gorgeous hues of pink, the events looked bright and festive as the couple celebrated amongst their loved ones.
Next in line was the engagement, which was hosted under an open sky with a dreamy décor highlighting the venue. Adorned with pale blooms, vintage lights and white crystals, the decor carried a contemporary flavor that simply awed the guests.
At Indian weddings, the Sangeet gives everyone a chance to dress up at their glamorous best, and it was no different for Jinal and Siddharth. Equipped with a colossal stage sporting an LED backdrop, the couple made a stunning entry on stage with cold pyros and then went on to perform to their favorite tracks.
For their Gujarati Wedding, all stops were pulled as Sattva Weddings crafted a showstopping baraat and a bridal entry that inspired awe! Yash shares, “A new concept labeled ‘Grand Baaja Baraat’ was coined for the Wedding with over a 40 feet long trailer that played fusion music along with two DJs, five different musicians, eight Dholi’s and eight Dancers! Additionally, we also executed the bridal entry with equal style as Jinal entered with a troop of fifty dancers who played various instruments. Additionally, Russian artists played the piano and danced.” Describing the Wedding decor, Yash goes on to share, “Instead of choosing the usual colors, Jinal went for subtle hues at her wedding. Peach, whites and light were a part of the color palette for the royal celebration. The Wedding was hosted on a party plot which was specially constructed for this wedding which they have now made commercial.”
For the reception, grandeur again ruled as Sattva Weddings left no stone unturned for the reception. Yash shares, “We built a 100 feet long reception stage with a 200 feet long entry passage that had previously witnessed the fun-filled baraat. A stage backed by lush foliage and white blooms was where the couple interacted with their well-wishers. However, the seating areas consisted of red decor elements that were accentuated by dashes of gold.”
